IT Project Management Consultant with German & English (f/m)

Brief Role Description

We are a modern Shared Service Center, offering support for business operations and complementary services to other Volkswagen Group companies in Europe. We started our activity in 2016 as a Competence Center in the area of accounting, which is still a significant field of our operations. By opening up to new business challenges, we constantly expand the scope of our services in the field of data processing and verification, business intelligence, software user support, project management and customer care.

From the very beginning of our operation, our head office is located in the center of Poznań, near the Warta River. To ensure the best quality and smooth run of our services, we actively recruit not only on local labor markets, but also throughout the country, offering attractive and stable employment conditions.

In our Consulting department we provide services for various business needs, such as Project Management, Process Management, IT Consulting, SAP Consulting and Salesforce Consulting.

For further development of our service portfolio we are looking for consultants who will be able to provide functional and technical support for the project management area with the start date 01.10.2026 

Possible Tasks within this Role

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Coordination of IT activities for production, logistics, and shopfloor IT systems as part of the launch of the cabin welding and paint shop facilities,
• Coordination of IT infrastructure activities, covering LAN/WLAN networks, connectivity services, end-user workstations, industrial IT equipment, printers and labeling systems, servers, central IT services, and IT security compliance requirements,
• Coordination of testing, IT acceptance, operational readiness assessments, transition to operations/support, and post-go-live stabilization and closure activities,
• Developing and managing project plans, ensuring timely delivery and quality (e.g. backlog management), maintenance of the project milestone plan, dependency list, and risk register.
• Communicating project status, updates and results to stakeholders & providing consultation to ensure alignment with stakeholders,
• Creating and preparing documentation and Steering Committee Reports,
• Monitoring and controlling project execution, including schedule, budget, quality, risks, scope changes, and corrective action management,
• Meetings coordination and moderation – scheduling, preparing agendas, ensuring that necessary materials and resources are available, facilitating smooth communication among participants to make sure that meetings are effective and productive,
• Ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet or exceed client standards.

YOUR PROFILE:  

• Studies on management, economics, computer science or comparable qualifications,
• Proven experience in industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or shopfloor IT projects, preferably in the automotive sector,
• Relevant experience as a IT project manager in a consulting environment (certifications in classical or agile project management highly desired),
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools in the IT area,
• Hight proactivity, you feel comfortable constantly contacting various clients to push for the project’s success,
• Advanced skills in MS PowerPoint & Excel,
• Fluent in English (min. C1),
• Good German (min. B2),
• Ability to work independently,
• Teamwork skills,
• Open-minded approach,
• Ability to easily communicate and establish contact with clients,
• Readiness for business travels.
