Brief Role Description

Employees who analyze, design, develop, and implement IT applications and software components. They define interfaces for users or between systems and are involved in system integration and tests. This role has significantly more experience and/or tasks/responsibilities than level II.

Possible Tasks within this Role

Your responsibilities:

 


•    Design, implement, and maintain highly available Linux-based infrastructure.
•    Automate system provisioning, configuration management and deployments 
•    Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support seamless software delivery.
•    Optimize system performance, security, and monitoring across cloud and on-premise environments.
•    Lead incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for critical system issues.
•    Implement best practices for infrastructure security, compliance, and disaster recovery.
•    Manage and scale containerized applications.
•    Mentor junior DevOps engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote DevOps culture.
•    Collaborate with development and security teams to enhance infrastructure reliability.
•    Stay up to date with emerging DevOps technologies and propose innovative solutions.

 

 


Your skills:

 


•    5+ years of experience as a Linux System Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
•    Expert-level knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL) administration and tuning.
•    Strong programming/scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.
•    Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, etc.).
•    Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code.
•    Deep understanding of container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
•    Strong cloud expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP) including networking, security, and cost optimization.
•    Experience with logging and monitoring tools.
•    In-depth knowledge of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices.
•    Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in production environments.
•    Ability to lead projects, make architectural decisions, and mentor team members.
