Brief Role Description

Employees who analyze, design, develop, and implement IT applications and software components. They define interfaces for users or between systems and are involved in system integration and tests. This role has significantly more experience and/or tasks/responsibilities than level I.

Possible Tasks within this Role

Your responsibilities:

 

 

  • Working in the context of automotive IoT you will create, test, deploy and run (DevOps) customer-facing solutions and internal services running on modern cloud infrastructure
  • You will develop and maintain functionality for our trucks using agile methodologies, being responsible for integral parts of our technical roadmap.
  • You will create products, prototypes and MVPs for near-vehicle services.
  • Be able to take end to end responsibility for the products you build, working closely with other departments to test your software as part of the complete system.
  • Advise your team and other teams on all questions around Full stack development in electric vehicle area and work together on continuously improving the service, tooling and processes.
  • Take initiative to solve problems and overcome roadblocks, being the interface between design, technology and user. You are a result-oriented individual.
  • Learn new technologies and to solve problems in innovative and pragmatic ways.

 

 

Your Skills:

 

 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or comparable job expertise.
  • Relevant experience in the conception and implementation of complex software solutions in an international context.
  • Has an Agile and DevOps mindset.
  • Solid experience with Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles as well as common software design patterns. Emphasis on quality, maintainability and usability.
  • Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
  • Experience with SAFe framework is a plus.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence is a plus.
  • Solid experience with fullstack development with Java (Spring Boot), React and Typescript with focus on RESTful APIs and event driven architecture (e.g. Kafka, Kinesis, SQS, MQTT).
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Experience with CI/CD and micro-service architectures, not only using but building it.
  • Experience with cloud-based environments (preference for AWS). Cloud paradigms like Infrastructure- as-Code, PaaS, alerting and monitoring is a plus.
  • Knowledge of state management libraries (e.g., Redux or Context API).
  • Relevant knowledge of database management systems (SQL, NoSQL)
  • Knowledge of Python (preferably Flask) for rapid prototyping and tooling is also an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of design patterns and architectural concepts like MVC and MVVM.
  • Very good English skills, both written and spoken.
  • High level of self-organization and sense of ownership.
  • Proactive in communicating and taking action.
  • Curious, likes to investigate and understand how things work.
  • Motivated by a strong passion to learn and continuously improve, solving problems in an innovative and pragmatic way.
  • Communicate and collaborate with empathy and clarity - you care about supporting those around you.
