Brief Role Description
Possible Tasks within this Role
Your Responsibilities:
- Working in the context of automotive IoT you will create, test, deploy and run (DevOps) customer-facing solutions and internal services using modern cloud infrastructure;
- You will develop and maintain functionality for our trucks using agile methodologies, being responsible for integral parts of our technical roadmap;
- You will develop products, prototypes and MVPs for near-vehicle features;
- You will be able to take end to end responsibility for the products you build in a DevOps organization (design it, build it, run it);
- You advise your team and other teams on all questions around Fullstack development in an automotive IoT environment and work together on continuously improving the service, tooling and processes;
- You take initiative to solve problems and overcome roadblocks, being the interface between design, technology and user. You are a result-oriented individual;
- You are happy to learn new technologies and to solve problems in innovative and pragmatic ways.
Your Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or comparable job expertise;
- At least 5 years of experience;
- Relevant experience in the conception and implementation of web-based IT solutions in an international context;
- Solid experience with state-of-the-art front end development, leveraging TypeScript frameworks (preferably React and Redux);
- Solid experience with developing back end development in state-of-the-art languages (e.g. TypeScript, Java, or Python), with focus on RESTful APIs;
- Experience with modern databases (preferably PostgreSQL or AWS DynamoDB);
- Experience in using and integrating cloud services (preferably AWS) with cloud paradigms like Serverless computing and Infrastructure-as-code;
- Solid experience with Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles as well as common software design patterns. Emphasis on quality, maintainability and usability.
- Team-oriented mindset and strong collaboration skills.
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken.
- Having an Agile and DevOps mindset.
