Brief Role Description
Dive into the world of Cyber Security at Volkswagen Infotainment! As a working student, you’ll help us secure the entire software development lifecycle. You’ll automate security checks in an exciting DevSecOps environment, work with modern tools and technologies, and learn how to master the complexity of software development through structured processes—all within an agile, motivated team.
Possible Tasks within this Role
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of security tooling in a DevSecOps environment
- Support the automation of security checks within CI/CD pipelines
- Help shape and continuously improve processes and methods for secure software development
Qualification requirements
- Enrolled in a degree program in IT Security, Computer Science, or a comparable field
- Initial experience with scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) on Linux
- Basic knowledge of software programming
- Practical experience with Git and CI/CD environments (e.g., GitHub) is a plus
- Basic understanding of Cyber Security, container technologies, and cloud environments
- Independent, structured working style and strong interest in modern security approaches
