RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Chief Accountant & CFO in leading and coordinating accounting and reporting development projects.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Contribute to the preparation of statutory and group financial statements.
- Develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards in Excel and other financial systems.
- Act as a liaison with Group headquarters, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial data, reports, and project updates.
- Coordinate with internal teams (finance, controlling, operations) to gather and validate financial data.
- Identify and implement process improvements in accounting workflows and reporting.
- Support audits (internal and external) by preparing documentation and reconciliations.
- Act as a point of contact for system-related questions and support the implementation of new accounting tools.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Very good knowledge of accounting principles and practices is required.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data analysis).
- Experience in reporting to Group headquarters for consolidation purposes is a strong advantage.
- Experience with SAP (or other ERP systems) is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of IFRS will be considered an asset.
- Good command of English (written and spoken) is required; German will be considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Excellent communication skills, including experience in working with international teams.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
