Senior Partner Manager (all genders)

Brief Role Description

The employees ensure the customer-oriented acceptance and handover of vehicles to maintain mobility. They explain the technology, safety and operation of vehicles when they are handed over to the customer. A quality and complaint check is carried out when the vehicle is accepted. In addition to vehicle management with booking evaluations, support activities are carried out according to work instructions (driver and messenger services, cleaning and maintenance work) and simple administrative tasks.

Possible Tasks within this Role

This is a unique opportunity for a motivated and strategic professional to shape the future of sustainable transportation through high-impact partnerships in the EV charging domain. As a Senior Partner Manager in our interdisciplinary Mobility Service Provider (MSP) team, you will lead key relationships with Charge Point Operators (CPOs) and drive the expansion and optimization of our public charging network across DACH and Northern Europe - delivering an exceptional experience to our users.

In this role, you will:

  • Own and lead partner relationships with CPOs in DACH and Northern Europe, driving commercial and quality improvements aligned with MSP strategy.
  • Negotiate and maintain contractual agreements, including framework and cooperation contracts.
  • Lead network expansion, onboarding new partners and entering new markets.
  • Monitor and optimize performance, using KPIs and data insights to drive continuous
  • Develop market strategies for your region, including competitive analysis and strategic positioning.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with product, operations, customer care, and marketing to enhance user experience.
  • Contribute to strategic planning within the MSP department.

Qualification requirements

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
  • You bring 2–5 years of experience in partner management, sales, business development, or project management within the EV charging industry.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German, and additional languages such as Spanish or French are a plus.
  • You have a proven track record of building and managing complex partnerships, driving both growth and innovation.
  • You demonstrate strong negotiation and influencing skills, with solid knowledge of financial metrics, contract management, and stakeholder alignment.
  • You excel in communication and stakeholder management, with the ability to convey technical concepts and business value to diverse audiences.
  • You bring strong project management and organizational skills, capable of structuring and leading multiple workstreams.
  • You think strategically and take a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
  • You demonstrate leadership qualities, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, mentor peers, and represent the MSP team in high-impact discussions.
  • You are a self-starter with a passion for innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement.


The position is assigned to grade J (VW Grading: 19/20) according to the Elli function grading.
