Brief Role Description
This is a Fully Remote position based in the Pacific Time Zone.
The Site Acquisition Specialist will be a key part of Electrify America’s Site Acquisition team and will be responsible for identifying, creating and developing relationships with potential site hosts and land owners to permit the installation and operation of Electrify America Charging Stations on properties. They will use the group’s analytical tools, including various research metrics and geospatial resources to educate the Sr. Site Acquisition Specialists and/or Manager of Site Acquisition of the potential leads with site hosts and support the relationships throughout the business development cycle.
The Site Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for collaborating with and supporting the Sr. Site Acquisition Specialist and/or Manager of Site Acquisition in the development presentation materials and participate in engagements with real estate account executives to educate each on the benefits of EV charging for various site applications and dwell times. The Site Acquisition Specialist will assist the Sr. Site Acquisition Specialist and/or Manager of Site Acquisition in negotiating real estate agreement terms with site hosts relating to site access and maintain strong relationships throughout the negotiation phase prior to handoff to the portfolio management team for continued relationship development and additional site identification. The Site Acquisition Specialist will track all real estate business development activities via the company’s CRM tool and present progress frequently to senior management to ensure KPIs are being achieved.
Possible Tasks within this Role
Main responsibility – 50% of time spent
- Utilizes site planning and research to identify leads and target strategic regional and national retail, hospitality, restaurant, REIT, commercial property and other site host partners for placement of EV charging infrastructure.
- Participate in B2B outreach, attending networking events, close coordination with states and municipalities, working with real estate brokers and facilitating leads from other groups within Electrify America
- Participates in presentations and pitches to prospective site host by supporting the development of professional collaterals and presentation materials. Acts as a source of knowledge on the EV industry and related charging products and services
Additional responsibilities – 40% of time
- Utilizes the CRM tool to track and monitor all real estate leads and opportunities through business development cycle. Tracks key KPIs and presents progress frequently to senior management.
- Attend various ICSC and industry related trade shows to develop relationship and educate potential site hosts on the benefits of Electrify America Charging Stations.
- Supports Sr. Site Acquisition Specialist and Manager of Site Acquisition in negotiating real estate deal terms including lease agreements, licensing arrangements and/or purchase contracts ensuring adherence to industry benchmarks.
Additional responsibilities – 10% of time
- Facilitates in-bound inquiries from interested site hosts and works with GIS and the field team to vet viability of locations and eligibility for investment.

In the state of California, the salary range is $69,900 – 140,000.
In the state of Colorado, the salary range is $69,900 – 123,100.
In the state of Washington, the salary range is $69,900 – 134,300.
In New York City, the salary range is $100,000 – 140,000.
In Westchester County, the salary range is $83,900 – 134,300.
In the state of Rhode Island, the salary range is $69,900 – 123,100.
