Brief Role Description
Electrify America’s 10–week Summer Internship Program targets undergraduate students entering their Junior or Senior years who are eager to acquire practical, real-world experience in the automotive industry. This program is designed for high-potential, highly mobile, and self-starter candidates with a strong interest in the automotive industry. Focused on the development of professional and technical competencies as well as on-the-job training, our Summer Internship Program is an excellent opportunity to explore career choices early on. At Electrify America, interns have the chance to make an impact because we challenge them and trust them to perform meaningful work.
Program Information:
- 10-week Summer Internship Start Date (non-negotiable): June 1, 2026
- Program Duration: June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026

Possible Tasks within this Role
Role Summary:
The Hardware Strategy Analyst Intern will evaluate the NACS pilot chargers that Electrify America will deploy in Q1. They will measure their success/failure against key metrics and create a plan for when further NACS deployments should go live.
Qualifications -
Skills:
- Data analysis
- How the electric vehicle landscape moves towards NACS, and the fundamental differences between the NACS and CCS connectors
Specialized Skills:
- Data analysis (basic SQL is sufficient)
- General engineering knowledge
Additional Responsibilities:
- The results obtained from this analysis will be a major part of one of the most complex challenges facing the electric vehicle charging space - and our team is uniquely well placed to do it.
Preferred Major:
- Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science
Days Required In-Office:
- Tuesday - Thursday
