Brief Role Description
Electrify America’s 10–week Summer Internship Program targets undergraduate students entering their Junior or Senior years who are eager to acquire practical, real-world experience in the automotive industry. This program is designed for high-potential, highly mobile, and self-starter candidates with a strong interest in the rapidly evolving electric vehicle (EV) and automotive industry. Focused on the development of professional and technical competencies as well as on-the-job training, our Summer Internship Program is an excellent opportunity to explore career choices early on. At Electrify America, interns have the chance to make an impact because we challenge them and trust them to perform meaningful work.
Program Information:
- 10-week Summer Internship Start Date (non-negotiable): June 1, 2026
- Program Duration: June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026

Possible Tasks within this Role
Role Summary:
The Commercial Operations Analyst Intern will lead a focused project aimed at improving the experience of Electrify America’s commercial clients by enhancing the integration between IFS (our internal work management system) and the Client Customer Portal. The goal is to create a more seamless, transparent, and user-friendly interface that allows clients to better view and track the status of their chargers, service events, and operational performance.
Qualifications -
Skills:
- The intern will gain hands-on experience in workflow design, system integration, and cross-functional collaboration by analyzing and improving how data flows between IFS and the Client Customer Portal. They will also develop strong documentation and communication skills through creating commercial client operations training materials.
Specialized Skills:
- Project Management
Additional Responsibilities:
- Automating Commercial Task and Alert management for priority sites
Preferred Major:
- Business or Engineering
Days Required In-Office:
- Tuesday – Thursday
