Brief Role Description
Electrify America’s Product Management team is charged with planning for all internal and external products and services. This includes establishing product strategy and roadmaps, defining product requirements, building business cases, and securing cross-functional and senior leadership buy-in for all products we bring to market. The Product Manager: Public Network is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our public network of ultrafast DC fast charging (DCFC) stations, including equipment strategy, customer experience, partnerships, pricing structure, and site-level energy management.
Possible Tasks within this Role
Product Strategy (40%)
- Define set of products and services offered on Electrify America’s ultra-fast DCFC network
- Includes both B2B and B2C offerings
- Develop product roadmap with plan for rollout of new products and services over next 12-36 months
- Track and analyze competitive landscape and provide relevant product insights to broader Electrify America organization
Product Planning (40%)
- Identify core customer requirements through data/analytics and customer research to ensure Electrify America products are targeted at key customer pain points
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Field Operations, Marketing) to define new products and features
- Recommend pricing structure for all B2B and B2C products and services on the ultra-fast DCFC network
- Estimate product volumes and ‘take rates’ for all products and services
- Conduct make/buy analyses for any new offerings
- Support negotiations with key product suppliers/partners
Feedback Loop & Product life-cycle (20%)
- Together with Data, Energy and Finance teams, analyze site-level and network-level economics to inform new-product strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather lessons learned from existing deployments and incorporate into next set of products and services
Qualification requirements
Years of Relevant Experience:
- 10+ years of relevant experience
Education (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree
Skills:
- 10+ years experience including work in product management, corporate/business strategy, finance, or related fields
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to successful project implementation
- Familiarity with business accounting and P&L statements
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to solve problems creatively
- Ability to work in a dynamic, start-up environment and flex as needs and priorities change
- Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Specialized Skills (Required):
- Strong knowledge of EVs, EV charging, and/or Energy/Utilities
- Experience in product strategy and planning
- Experience running cross-functional initiatives with 10+ stakeholders
Specialized Skills (Desired):
- Knowledge and experience in managing complex product from strategy and planning through delivery, monitoring and maintenance
Work Flexibility:
- Moderate flexibility – able to work remote part time, but in person meetings may be required
- <10% travel required

In the state of California, the salary range is $106,100 – $212,900.
In the state of Colorado, the salary range is $106,100 – $187,200.
In the state of Washington, the salary range is $106,100 - $204,250.
In New York City, the salary range is $152,100 – $212,900.
In Westchester County, the salary range is $127,600 – $212,900.
In the state of Rhode Island, the salary range is $106,100 – $187,200.
