Brief Role Description
Electrify America seeks a contracted Marketing Data Analyst to support marketing performance reporting, dashboard development, predictive model building, and supplemental analytical projects to drive data-informed decisions. This role will help transform raw data into actionable insights that inform marketing and sales strategies and performance optimizations — helping Electrify America strengthen brand loyalty, amplify customer voices, grow topline revenue, and maintain leadership in the EV charging space.
Possible Tasks within this Role
1. Reporting & Analysis – 35%
- Provide automated reports on growth performance to key stakeholders.
- Perform deep-dive and ad-hoc analyses on marketing initiatives, campaign performance, audience behavior, and utilization data.
- Proactively monitor and track marketing KPIs (e.g., CTR, CPA, ROAS, Conversion Rates).
- Translate findings into actionable insights and optimization opportunities for stakeholders through reports and presentations.
- Build analyses / models that enable decision making oriented on customer acquisition and growth.
2. Data Collection & Management – 25%
- Extract and clean data across multiple platforms (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Social Media Platforms, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, EA Utilization Data) for analysis and database storage.
- Write, optimize, and document SQL queries to retrieve data from databases.
- Support the development of marketing/customer tables and views in database schemas.
3. Automation & Dashboard Development – 25%
- Build and maintain marketing reporting dashboards using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Apply visualization best practices for clarity and usability.
- Conduct routine quality assurance checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to collect business requirements and documentation.
4. Collaboration & Insights Generation – 15%
- Create clear, concise reports and presentations for stakeholders to inform decision-making with data-driven recommendations.
- Work cross-functionally with other analyst(s) and data engineers to support analysis and data integration

- Strong skills in supervised & unsupervised machine learning modeling
- Strong skills in working with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake
- Strong skills in developing and running queries for relational databases, such as SQL
- Strong visualization and analysis tools such as Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI
- Strong skills in Python (Pandas, numpy, scikit-learn)
- Presentation skills – ability to turn data into actionable information
- Experience with Agile workflow, project scoping, timeline estimation, process documentation

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is established within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay for this position will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
The national pay range for this position in most locations is $60,800 - $109,400.
There are some locations with a higher range, including San Francisco Bay Area and New York City, where the range is $86,900 - $156,500. (Note: Full Range)
