Brief Role Description
Electrify America seeks a contracted Marketing Data Analyst to support marketing performance reporting, dashboard development, and supplemental analytical projects to drive data-informed decisions. This role will help transform raw data into actionable insights that inform marketing strategy and performance optimizations — helping Electrify America strengthen brand loyalty, amplify customer voices, and maintain leadership in the EV charging space.
Possible Tasks within this Role
1. Reporting & Monitoring – 35%
- Provide monthly reports on marketing performance to key stakeholders.
- Perform deep-dive and ad-hoc analyses on marketing initiatives, campaign performance, audience behavior, and utilization data.
- Proactively monitor and track marketing KPIs (e.g., CTR, CPA, ROAS, Conversion Rates).
- Translate findings into actionable insights and optimization opportunities for stakeholders through reports and presentations.
2. Data Collection & Management – 25%
- Extract and clean data from marketing platforms (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Social Media Platforms, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) for analysis and database storage.
- Ensure proper campaign tagging and tracking implementations (e.g., UTM Parameters, Google Tag Manager), including documentation.
- Write, optimize, and document SQL queries to retrieve data from databases.
- Support the development of marketing tables and views in database schemas.
3. Automation & Dashboard Development – 25%
- Build and maintain marketing reporting dashboards using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Apply visualization best practices for clarity and usability.
- Conduct routine quality assurance checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Work closely with marketing teams to collect business requirements and documentation.
4. Collaboration & Insights Generation – 15%
- Create clear, concise reports and presentations for stakeholders to inform decision-making with data-driven recommendations.
- Work cross-functionally with other analyst(s) and data engineers to support analysis and data integration
Qualification requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing analytics or a relevant analytical field
- Proficiency in SQL (or Python)
- Understanding of Digital Marketing Metrics (CTR, CPA, ROAS, Conversion Rates)
- Experience with BI Tools (Tableau, Looker Studio, Power BI, RShiny)
- Familiarity with Marketing Analytics Platforms (GA4, GSC, GCM, Talkwalker, Amplitude, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)

The salary range is $75,000-$100,000.
