Brief Role Description
Electrify America’s 10–week Summer Internship Program targets undergraduate students entering their Junior or Senior years who are eager to acquire practical, real-world experience in the automotive industry. This program is designed for high-potential, highly mobile, and self-starter candidates with a strong interest in the automotive industry. Focused on the development of professional and technical competencies as well as on-the-job training, our Summer Internship Program is an excellent opportunity to explore career choices early on. At Electrify America, interns have the chance to make an impact because we challenge them and trust them to perform meaningful work.
Program Information:
- 10-week Summer Internship Start Date (non-negotiable): June 1, 2026
- Program Duration: June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026

Possible Tasks within this Role
Role Summary:
The EVSE Hardware Testing Intern will be working on the following projects: product inspection process improvement, root cause analysis, EVSE environmental and compliance testing.
Qualifications -
Skills:
- The EVSE Hardware Testing Intern will be introduced to several quality control tools used to monitor, measure and improve processes in ensuring a product meets the required standard.
Specialized Skills:
- Basic understanding of electrical/electronic systems.
Additional Responsibilites:
- The EVSE Hardware Testing Intern will be required to work on EVSE test automation.
Preferred Major:
- Engineering or Information Technology
Days Required In-Office:
- Monday~Friday in the Ashburn Lab
