(Senior) Internal Auditor (m/f/d)

YOUR TEAM

Our dynamic Internal Audit team plays a key role in safeguarding and enhancing the value of CARIAD. Reporting directly to the Board of Management, we perform independent and objective audit and advisory services aimed at creating value and optimizing our organization’s operations. Support us in achieving our goals by applying a systematic, targeted, and risk-oriented approach to evaluate the effectiveness of risk management, controls, and governance processes. WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Plan, prepare and conduct internal audits and consulting services within CARIAD Group with focus on technical topics along product development processes (e.g. product quality and product compliance) as well as IT-related topics (e.g. cyber security and basic governance processes)
• Perform joint audits with different audit departments within Volkswagen Group
• Identify risks, opportunities and improvement potential
• Develop actions to improve the operation’s business processes
• Prepare detailed audit reports and presentation of audit results to management
• Support and track follow up activities 

WHO YOU ARE

• Degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, economics, or equivalent qualification
• Relevant professional experience within automotive or digital sector, preferably in IT, software development, engineering functions, project management, quality management, auditing or GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance) functions; minimum of 3 years
• Experience as internal auditor is strongly encouraged; professional certifications (e.g. CIA, CFE, CISA) are a plus
• Good understanding of business processes and ability to abstract complex and multidimensional processes and challenges
• Analytical and numerical mind

• Strong communication skills, assertiveness and ability to deal with conflicts
• Fluent in English and German
