About the Role:

  • We are looking for an Analytics Engineer with a strong focus on Tableau to join our dynamic data team. You will be responsible for modeling raw data, building dashboards, and collaborating across teams to optimize data workflows.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality dashboards and visualizations in Tableau.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Work with modern data tools (e.g., DBT) to model, transform, and structure data for analytics purposes.
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and scalability in our pipelines.
  • Use Git to manage and maintain analytics code and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other teams (Engineering, Product, Marketing) to ensure alignment on data requirements and best practices.
  • Stay up to date with the latest analytics and business intelligence technologies.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize existing dashboards and processes for better performance.

 

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Tableau: Proven track record of building dynamic dashboards and visualizations.
  • SQL Expertise: Ability to write complex queries for data extraction and analysis.
  • Data Modeling Experience: Familiarity with DBT, or other data modeling tools, to structure and optimize data.
  • Git Knowledge: Competent with version control for collaborative data projects.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong data problem-solving abilities and knack for translating data into meaningful insights.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R for advanced data manipulation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
