The intern will support the Remarketing Team in achieving business targets by managing activities related to the end-of-contract phase for rental and leasing vehicles. Under the guidance of the Sales & Administration Team, the intern will primarily focus on administrative and after-sales processes for vehicles owned by VW Bank and VW Leasing.

 

Role and duty

 

The intern will support the Remarketing Team in the following activities:

  • Administration of buy-back sales (RAC vehicles) to the National Sales Company (VGI)
  • Support in dealer management processes
  • Confirmation and communication of winners (local process)
  • Payment control and monitoring
  • Credit checks on buyers (local process)
  • Release of sold vehicles (local process)
  • Request for ownership transfer and invoicing (local process)
  • Assistance in back office operations (e.g. self-billing, visura, customer data update, …)
  • Communication and coordination with buyers
  • Complaint management (local and second-level VTI process)
  • Monitoring buyer satisfaction
  • Support to other VTI Italy activities
  • Management of wrecks
  • Support in B2C processes

 

Required Competencies

 

  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel – at least intermediate level).
  • Passion for and knowledge of the automotive world
  • Good command of the English language
  • An interest in AI and emerging technologies is appreciated
